Dear Pastors
This is a brand new chapter here for the causes of Christ. I
would like for you to be involved with us as God leads to affect this
city for Him.
I need your prayers, encouragement and counsel as we begin here.
I want to be involved with you to reach this city for Him.
I believe God wants to do great and mighty things that we would be awed
if we saw them in this city. It is my desire to do what we can to
be a vessel that God can use to soften the community to Him, seeing the
blessing of God on His children, and see this city return to faith in
Christ. It is also my desire to do what we can
to see your church grow in 2005, and serve you in any way we are able
by His grace.
I am very excited about the vision God has given us to work with the
churches in this community, and will be sharing a presentation about
the Mission: To facilitate the return of
South Florida to faith in Christ through Faith-Based Initiatives, and
electing Pro-Family leaders and legislation.
I look forward to working with you for the causes of Christ.

New Christian Coaltion of South Florida Feb. 2, 2005
Several months have passed since
the forming of our chapter. I would like to take this opportunity to
tell you more about us and our progress to date.
We are organized as a chapter of
Christian Coalition of Florida, under the leadership
of Christian Coalition of America. This is the same Christian
Coalition organization founded and led by Pat Robertson and Ralph Reed.
Some pastors have mistaken us for another
organization in Miami that has been established and has the words
Christian and coalition in it's name. This other organization, however,
is not affiliated with the Christian Coalition of America. We are the
only Christian Coalition organization operating in Miami-Dade.
Our organization is the one that
distributes voter guides to the churches in Miami-Dade. We distributed
a total of 400,000 National, State and Local voter guides in Spanish
and English in the 2004 general election.
We are also the organization that fought along
side Sondra Snowden and Thomas More Law Center to have a Nativity scene
on Bar Harbor Island Causeway. We provided the Nativity scene and will
continue to provide it for the next 10 years because of our victory.
Our organization worked to defeat
gambling in Miami-Dade. We solicited the help of "No Casinos", Focus on
the Family, and National Coalition Against Legalized Gambling to
provide materials to the churches. We distributed video tapes and
DVDs on the harmful affects of gambling, and
distributed 100,000 voter guides in English and Spanish to
churches. We solicited a letter from Gov. Jeb Bush giving his
position on gambling for our membership event. This is the letter
that received national attention. Our organization funded anti gambling
radio ads and the only organization that ran anti gambling TV
commercials, all crucial to defeating the gambling measure.
It is our organization that has been
distributing marriage amendment petitions, bulletin size, in
Spanish and English to the churches in Miami-Dade together with
packets of materials including DVDs, power point CDs. and letter of
introduction by "Florida4Marriage".
We salute other organizations that are also
doing the work of the Lord. However, it is important for pastors to
know which organization we are. That they know that we are the
authentic Christian Coalition and we are called the Christian Coalition
of South Florida.
Our affiliation with the Christian Coalition of America organization
allows us to give you the important tools in the fight for a pro-family
government. We have and will continue to provide comprehensive non
partisan voter
guides for national, state and local races, to the
churches. Our research gives you legislative score cards for all state and national senators
and representatives. And you can take comfort in knowing that the
Christian Coalition organization has lobbyists working for you in
Washington and Tallahassee as well as other state capitals.
Not all pro family causes are political battles. We welcome you to view

serve God in our community.
For us to do the best job for you and your church, we ask that you
consider designating someone from your congregation to be a church liaison. Someone that
you can charge with the responsibility of keeping your church abreast
